You may have heard about a worm, commonly called the Kama Sutra, that is is set to activate at midnight on Friday 3 February.

Updated anti-virus tools should be enough to guard against this threat, but if you suspect you may have opened the email attachment that transmits the worm all is not lost.

This free download from anti-virus company Symantec will purge a PC of Kama Sutra's unpleasant eefects, which include the deletion of all Word and PDF documents located on a hard disk.

Be sure to run the clean-up tool before the end of Thursday 2 February.

This is not a substitute for a full anti-virus program.
