It often seems that it is only possible to create really good-looking websites with an in-depth knowledge of complicated languages. Rapidweaver is designed to be as simple as possible without compromising on looks.
Available for Mac OS X only, Rapidweaver includes 30 themes with more available from the Realmac Software website. This demo download is fully functional but can only create websites with three pages. The full version costs $40.
Photo collections can be converted into slide shows using Flash or CSS. Rapidweaver can also create RSS news feeds and handle podcasts.
Once the website is finished it can be uploaded from within Rapidweaver with either FTP or the more secure SFTP. When changing existing websites, Rapidweaver will only update files that have changed, saving time.
The new version 4 ships with a completely re-designed interface and is designed to use some of the innovative features within the Leopard operating system. It also ships with a host of new templates and much more.
