Whilst we work through the day, we’re always thinking of ideas, whether they are business-orientated, plans for the future, ideas for home improvements or tasks we need to do for the rest of the day or week. Either way, we try and remember the ideas, plans and thoughts, or we draft them on paper or a post-it note and stick it to the front of our computer.
Not the most ideal method of storing our thoughts. Another option would be to use a ‘to do’ task-orientated diary or notepad. However, random thoughts make planning random and it’s easy to go back through your old thoughts and wonder how they apply to your work and whether your thoughts supersede more recent plans. If you’re a developer who writes notes about your plans and ideas, you might find that your notes become so extensive their too hard to follow.
WikidPad is a tool that enables you to store all your ideas, thoughts, tasks, lists and anything note-orientated. You can cross-link your ideas, too. Thoughts could cross in to your contact list and more. Your notes can be categorised to make future access far easier – for instance, your notes about home improvement will be stored within this category, rather than a random stack of post-it notes.
