Copying files should be a very simple affair but if files are open or otherwise locked the operation will fail. This often leads to confusion as to which files were copied and those that were not. TeraCopy can remove this confusion.

TeraCopy replaces the Windows Explorer copy command to offer several advantages. By adapting the way files are copied depending on their size it can copy files faster as well as pause and resume transfers.

Most importantly, in the case of problems, TeraCopy displays a list of the files that did not copy properly. It also tries several times to copy a file if there are problems.

Verdict

A very useful utility
