This is the software publisher's description.
Dealing with incoming spam isn’t easy, particularly when you have a ‘catch all’ POP3 address, where all your email is collated in to one folder. This means that spammers who attempt to email you at accounts@yourdomain.com, sales@yourdomain.com and every other possible email address, results in multiple spam from the same source. There’s very little you can do about it.
If you have your own server, you could process incoming email and then sort out your own local POP3 or SMTP relay server. This would enable you to have full control over the incoming email, so only email sent to some.one@yourdomain.com would be collected by that particular user or employee.
MailEnable Standard Edition is a powerful email server that is also fairly easy to use. You can also configure it so that you can enable other users to access mail lists, so you could send out information to employees with a particular department or who have interests in an area of your company.
