Palm yesterday introduced its latest Tungsten handheld, the T2, which the company claims will allow users to store more data than ever before.
Like the original Tungsten T, the T2 comes with integrated Bluetooth and voice-recorder capabilities, but focuses on multimedia features through its increased memory and improved screen.
The T2 comes with 32MB SDRam (29.5MB user available), twice the capacity of the original Tungsten T and has a high-resolution 320 x 320 TFT display .
The key to its memory expansion is Palm Solutions Group's recent expansion of the Ram capacity of Palm Powered handhelds from 16MB to 128MB.
David Christopher, vice president of product management at Palm Solutions Group, said: "Handheld enthusiasts with a taste for innovation will appreciate the T2 for its compactness and built-in Bluetooth technology."
