Easy Recorder offers several improvements over Windows Sound Recorder.

It is not limited in the length of recording in the same way and can record music streamed from the internet by recording the output from the sound card, although this will include any other sounds made by the computer during recording.

Easy Recorder can save audio as high quality WAV files like Sound Recorder but it can also save in MP3 to save space, both on a computer and on portable media players.

Easy Recorder also supports hotkeys for starting and stopping recordings so that you do not have to leave the active program to start recording.

This trial version is limited to recording 2 minutes of audio at a time.
