Mozilla Prism is a very interesting idea and makes many web applications much easier to use.
One problems with these interactive websites such as Google Mail or Calendar is that browser back buttons can cause havoc.
Prism is a web browser without any buttons or tabs and can be launched as if it really is Google Mail rather than Internet Explorer or Firefox.
It might seem like a step backwards to remove tabs but it does make sense to keep some of these websites separate. One thing to bear in mind is that it does not necessarily show the address bar, so it is harder to see if a website is secure or not.
Mac and Linux versions are also available.
This is a beta project but we didn't have any problems.
