User Account Control (UAC) is a feature new to Windows Vista that improves security.
Before certain changes can be made to the computer, they must be confirmed in a User Account Control Window that appears onscreen. Tune UAC is a small utility for changing how this works.
It is possible to turn UAC off just for Administrators without affecting ordinary users who should not be given this freedom.
The interface is simple; there are not many options to change but it does give more control than the Windows option of on and off.
