Graphics tablets are a useful alternative to a mouse, and the Wacom Volito 2
is a tablet with a usable area of about the same as a quarter of an A4 page.
Ordinary left-clicking is achieved by pressing down the tip and there are two
buttons on the side for right-clicking and double-clicking.
The tip is pressure sensitive, and can be used for artistic effects in image
editors that support this function. It offers much better control than a mouse,
and both of the side buttons can be assigned as other mouse buttons if required.
The shortcut in the Notification Area activates the help file as well as the
tablet options. It can be used to set the tablet to represent the screen or to
use the pen like a mouse.
It's not the cheapest tablet of its size but is worth the extra money for the
freedom from a battery in the pen and general quality.
