The latest printer from Canon is a portable device that the company says offers high-quality photo prints.
The Canon Pixma iP100 weighs 2kg and has a carry handle.
It uses a five-ink system, which Canon claims enhances photo quality and minimises grain. It is said to print 10cmx15cm borderless photos in 50 seconds.
There is an option to buy the printer bundled with a rechargeable battery pack, which will print 290 pages on one charge.
It comes with a USB cable for PC and laptop printing and there is an optional extra Bluetooth unit for cable-free printing. Prices for this are yet to be announced.
Canon Pixma iP100 also comes with Easy-Photoprint software, which lets users create calendar and album layouts and correct red-eye in photos.
The printer costs £199 or £249 with a battery pack. It will be available from mid-May.
