Accountz Personal Accounts

A good, but basic, package

Nobody likes doing accounts but Personal Accounts keeps things as simple as possible.

The Accounts window is used to set up the different accounts for your real bank accounts and for costs and income sources. These accounts can be arranged with sub-totals so you can see your outgoings and make sure you have more money coming in than going out.

There is one single window for entering your transactions, which removes the need to switch between windows for different accounts.

Unfortunately the emphasis on simplicity does require some knowledge of accounts. It also lacks some of the helpful wizards for setting budgets or reducing debt that can be found in Microsoft Money.
