Mediasurface wins content management contract

Written by Daniel Thomas

The UK Immigration and Nationality Directorate (IND) has awarded a contract to content management firm Mediasurface to redevelop its citizen website.

Mediasurface's content management technology will be used alongside a Morello smart client to redevelop the internet site.

IND, a division of the Home Office which regulates entry into the UK and manages the national work permit system, says the new technology will improve content on the site.

'Morello will allow us to set higher standards across the sites, whilst giving control to content authors and freeing up bottlenecks,' said Stacey Hewlett, head of web and e-Communications at IND.

'We are excited about the project as we move into the development phase.'
