Croydon Borough Council has signed a five year, £6m service management deal
to maximise its use of its pension and payroll IT systems.
The agreement, which is due to begin in September, will see self-service
payroll and pensions systems rolled out for Croydon's 12,000 staff.
Services will be delivered in the new system include clerical and
administrative support in addition to administration of the
Local Government Pension Scheme.
Nathan Elvery, director of finance at
Croydon Borough Council says the new
contract with Liberata and
MidlandHR demonstrates its commitment to
streamlining its back-office systems.
'The Council is confident that the implementation will go to plan and deliver
the savings and improved efficiencies we sought from this procurement,' he said.
