Collaborative framework to target defence customers

EDS and IFS collaborate on defence contracts

Pooling systems integration and logistics expertise could help win new business

Written by Martin Courtney

EDS Defence and IFS Defence have created a strategic solutions framework designed to help them sell jointly into aerospace and defence (A&D) organisations around the world.

The companies already supply systems integration, managed services and logistics applications to the UK Ministry of Defence. And by pooling their expertise, they hope to gain more market traction elsewhere.

IFS Defence focuses primarily on the A&D industry. Existing customers include the UK, US and Norwegian government defence organisations, and aircraft equipment makers Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems and Saab.
