Coach operator hopes to manage its finances more efficiently with analysis system

Written by Angelica Mari

easyBus is using analysis software to streamline its financial management and back-office functions.

The low-cost bus operator hopes to manage its finances more efficiently with the new system, so it can compete more aggressively in the European coach travel industry.

“The new software will help us to analyse and control costs in a multi-site operation,” said easyBus chief executive Vasant Mistry.

“This will enable us to keep easyBus on the road to growth. Our plan to expand across Europe means we need to see the big picture at any given moment so we can be proactive and ensure we are always competitive,” he said.

Integration plans include implementing a centralised accounting system to replace easyBus’s existing platform. The new system will include a general ledger, accounts payable, reporting and fixed assets tools all running with a financial workflow system.

Agresso is supplying the analysis system to easyBus and will take part in the roll-out of the accounting software.
