Blog section encouraged readers to vote for Boris Johnson

Written by Tom Young

Harriet Harman's official web site has been taken offline after a hacker infiltrated the site and announced Harman was defecting to the Conservative party.

The site was hacked overnight and was only taken down at about 9.15am after staff arrived at the office.

The blog section encouraged readers to vote for Boris Johnson in the upcoming mayoral elections.

Harman's office was not available to comment this morning.
