PricewaterhouseCoopers outsources HR system to Logica

Pay as you go model removes upfront software fee

Written by Angelica Mari

PricewaterhouseCoopers is outsourcing the provision of a payroll service covering some 18,000 staff to supplier Logica.

The business process outsourcing (BPO) project will aim to deliver the system under a “pay-as-you-go” model, which removes the need to pay an upfront software licence fee.

The system, delivered in partnership with Oracle, is due to go live in December and will be integrated with the firm’s human resources and finance platforms.

PricewaterhouseCoopers hopes to benefit from features introduced by the new system such as error tracking and periodical advance checks on payroll, as well as a management dashboard with tools such as workflow and self-service email generation.
