Juniper Networks is extending its trade-up programme across EMEA to encourage
more firms to make the switch from rival products.
The programme, which is aimed at end-users, is run through Juniper Networks’
J-Partner reseller accredited network and allows firms to buy selected Juniper
products at a discount in exchange for their existing competitive products.
Juniper has extended the deadline to 31 December.
Juniper’s entire security and enterprise routing portfolios are offered as
part of the programme. In addition the programme has been broadened to include
Juniper’s application acceleration portfolio which resulted from its recent
acquisition of Redline Networks and Peribit Networks.
Rival vendors targeted by the programme include Cisco, Check Point, Nokia, F5
and Nortel.
Gert-Jan Schenk, vice president of channel and alliances EMEA at Juniper
said: "This programme is designed to give customers good value for money against
competitive products that are nearing the end of their depreciable life, while
enabling our partners to gain footholds in new markets."
