AN4 Group is EVA so HP

Reseller secures its status as one of HP's top storage partners after completing stringent EVA accreditation process

Written by Sara Yirrell

VAR AN4 Group has completed Hewlett-Packard’s (HP) rigorous accreditation process to cement its status as one of the vendor’s few Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) storage partners.

Kristian Connor, sales director at AN4 Group said: “Storage is such a rapidly growing area for AN4 Group that we have dedicated resources and time to getting our technical teams the best possible training and certification. EVA Certification is actually quite scarce in the UK compared to the number of HP partners and we felt it necessary to both differentiate ourselves and allow us to offer the most professional service to our clients.”

Analyst firm IDC recently place HP in pole position in the Disk Storage System market with 22.9 per cent market share.

“We have been a HP partner for thirteen years now and have delivered hundreds of successful projects around the StorageWorks product family and we believe that HP can offer a very compelling product for the typical medium enterprise customer,” Connor added. “However, we also have partnership agreements with EMC, SUN, IBM and Storage Tek as the ultimate decision is with our clients and we have an ongoing strategy to maintain the highest level of accreditation with all our partners.”

Paul Augaitis, BDM Servers and Storage, HP UK, said: “EVA Accreditation is a only awarded to partners who have undergone the most stringent of examination at both a financial and technical level to assure prospective customers as to the solidity and competence of the partner.”
