Servo boosts HP accreditation

VAR looks to deepen its relationship with HP as it secures two coveted storage accreditations

Written by Sara Yirrell

VAR Servo has gained Computing Systems Specialist and StorageWorks Solution Specialist status from Hewlett-Packard (HP).

The Computing Systems Specialist accolade means Servo has proven its experience in the configuration and provision of Intel-based HP ProLiant servers and enterprise storage solutions to enterprise-level customers. The StorageWorks Solution Specialist label means the VAR is also able to configure and deliver HP's Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) products and services aimed at medium-sized to enterprise-level firms.

In addition to the two HP accreditations, Servo has Microsoft Gold Partner Status as well as Citrix, Cisco and VMware partnerships.

Ian Garland, Servo's Storage Business Development Manager, said: "We are delighted to have gained these two accreditations from HP, which acknowledge our experience and expertise in the deployment of HP's server and storage solutions to the enterprise market. Having now joined the ranks of HP's enterprise specialist partners, we look forward to cementing our relationship with HP over the coming months."

Andy Gadsby, UK Channel Development Manager at HP, said: "We are pleased to be able to award Servo HP's 'Computing Systems Specialist' and 'StorageWorks Solution Specialist' status. We look forward to continuing our long and productive relationship with Servo."
