ANS is buoyant after being appointed as
the UK’s first high-level Support Partner for
Novell’s identity and security management
(ISM) portfolio.
The accreditation ties in with Novell’s PartnerNet programme (CRN, 20
November), which aims to build partner focus around Linux, ISM, systems
management and workgroups.
John Bainbridge, partner sales director UK and Ireland at Novell, told CRN
that the accreditation would allow ANS to draw on Novell’s own engineers when
rolling out complex infrastructure solutions.
“Companies need to be comfortable that the partner can provide a very high
level of service,” he said. “If it has a problem the partner has access to any
level of Novell engineer.”
Novell would not reveal if an equivalent support accreditation would be
introduced in its other PartnerNet areas, but said it was looking to recruit
further ISM support partners. C
