Gem to distribute Nyko kit in UK

Gaming accessories and peripherals vendor Nyko has selected retail distribution firm Gem to grow its UK market share

Written by sara yirrell

Under the exclusive partnership, Gem will stock a range of Nyko’s latest gaming accessories, including the intercooler for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and the Wireless Sensor Bar and Charge Station for Wii.

Jonathon Harker, marketing co-ordinator at Gem, said: “Nyko has been really successful in North America and has been crowned the third biggest peripheral manufacturer in the territory. The peripheral channel is a crucial market for the gaming industry and our plan is to have Nyko established in the UK through retailers in time for the lucrative Christmas market.”
