2e2 clinches UK hotel deal

The vendor secures a contract to maintain printers in a chain of UK hotels

Written by Sam Trendall

VAR 2e2 has bagged a contract to maintain the printers used in Guoman Hotels.

The three-year deal covers 280 Lexmark and HP machines in 41 Guoman and Thistle Hotels.

2e2 will provide printers with two service level agreements (SLAs). The emergency SLA offers a four-hour response time, while the business service offers a next-day response.
Nick Grossman, corporate business development director at 2e2, told CRN that managed services represent 29 per cent of 2e2’s business.

“We like these deals because they allow us to demonstrate our flexibility. There are few firms with several hundred field engineers and more skilled people nationwide that can provide back-up,” Grossman said.
