Integralis
has continued its global expansion strategy with acquisitions in both the US and
China.
Firstly the integrator is set to acquire the Centris technology platform from
two US companies – Neohapsis and KSR. Part of the deal, for an undisclosed sum,
will include taking over both firms’ managed services business.
According to Integralis, the technology will enhance is existing ISIS
security platform with the addition of management services for database, web and
mail servers as well as operating systems and other platforms.
The deal includes existing contracts, worth in excess of $1m and 20
employees, which will be transferred to Integralis with immediate effect.
Simultaneously, Integralis has signed an option agreement for the full
acquisition of all the assets of China Managed Services. The company has already
signed up a major Chinese telephone carrier as its first partner and is already
using the Centris platform.
Under the terms of the agreement, Integralis has undertaken to provide CMS
with follow-up finance in the form of a loan by mid 2009, at which point it may
also exercise its call option to buy the company.
