Gomez speeds up web analytics

Gomez Performance Network 6.5 enables faster problem resolution for web applications and web sites

Written by IT Week Staff

Gomez, a developer of internet application performance-monitoring software, has released version 6.5 of its diagnostic tool, Gomez Performance Network.

GPN 6.5 includes Performance Analyser technology, which Gomez said would save firms time and money when testing web applications and web site performance. Performance Analyser offers guidance and context to solve problems when they occur.

Gomez said its system reduces costs for firms by reducing the mean time between problem identification and resolution. In a statement chief executive Jaime Ellertson said, “The Gomez Performance Analyser is like having a PhD in web performance at your side, finding needles in technical haystacks and discovering in 30 seconds what would have taken hours or more to solve by reviewing reams of server logs.”
