Web site performance monitoring specialist Gomez has launched a new suite of products designed to provide web developers and testers with the tools to analyse and test their sites across multiple browsers and operating systems.

The firm's On-Demand QA solutions suite is delivered via a fully fledged SaaS model and is intended to complement its existing expertise in web performance monitoring, extending the reach of Gomez products away from the IP operations group to the developer community, according to Arthur Mateos, General Manager of QA Solutions.

The three products in the suite include Reality View, which facilitates visual testing across any browser or operating system, and Reality Check, which lets testers see "how an application is running from a functional perspective", Mateos explained.

Reality load, currently in beta, is the firm's load testing product, which utilises their network of 14,000 points of presence across the globe to get a more accurate picture from an end-user perspective of the performance of particular tasks.

"This is building on our vision to be able to take users from the beginning to the end of the lifecycle, all from a web experience point of view," said Mateos. "From an existing customer perspective they will see the same portal previously but with added functionality embedded into the product."
