Verdict

The ZyWall 70 UTM model employs a ZyWall Turbo PC Card to provide hardware acceleration for intrusion detection and prevention and anti-virus services.

Pros: Good combination of UTM features; easy installation and configuration; WAN failover and multiple DMZ options included; clever use of PC Card accelerator.

Cons: Limited local reporting; mobile client IPsec VPNs are a real pain to set up.
