Verdict

The winner of our Editor's Choice award, the Switch 4500 has RIP Layer 3 routing, but not OSPF. It also has four SFP ports.

Pros: Can use voice LANs (VLans) to easily support different vendors’ IP telephony equipment and prioritise voice traffic.

Cons: No SSL access.
