Verdict

The PowerConnect 3448 is the least expensive switch on test. It has enough basic features to suit modest requirements, but supports only Layer 3 QoS functions.

Pros: Good value for money.

Cons: Only Layer 3 QoS supported; no long-haul SFPs qualified; could stack only six switches together.
