Review: Akasa Revo cooler

Ideal for those building silent PCs

At the heart of the Revo CPU cooler is bubble-pump thermodynamic technology.

These bubble pumps have no moving parts (they are just liquid and gas) and are highly efficient at heat transfers.

In the case of the Revo, the bubble pump is driven by a dual-component coolant which is stored in a chamber sitting directly on the CPU.

The heat is them transferred through a multi-finned aluminium radiator and cooled by a slow-spinning 92mm fan. It's an ideal solution for those building silent PCs but, due to the tight thermodynamic range of the coolant, it won't be of any use to overclockers.
