WorldClock for Windows allows you to find the local time for almost any area of the world by simply clicking on the map. It will also automatically determine whether Daylight Savings Time is currently in effect for that area and adjust the time accordingly. One extremely useful feature of WorldClock is its TimeSync capability. If you're logged on to the Internet (pretty likely if you're reading this ), you can check your PC's time against an Internet time server for accuracy. It supports several timesync protocols (SNTP and Time) and allows you to specify a maximum correction.
It's also a calendar and an alarm program. You can set up to eight alarms. These can be set for a given time and activated for the current day only or for selected days that you specify.
In this latest version there is a new option added that saves you screen space: If 'Digital Multiple Clock' option is enabled it will display only the digital time portion of the multiple clock windows, the analog clock faces will not be shown. Also, the popup menu when minimized to the system tray now gives you direct access to three of the major functions of WorldClock: Time set, alarm set and calendar. A couple of bugs and other little problems have also been fixed.
