PC Spy enables you to find out exactly what has been carried out on your computer while you are away. It's perfect for those office situations where access to your PC is not controlled, or for checking up on what your child is viewing on the internet.
This software captures screen images at user specified intervals, and stores them for you to view on your return. You can specify what time to start the program, the number of screenshots to take (a maximum of 9999) and the time interval between them.
The resulting images are saved inside PC Spy and cannot be viewed by any other image editor/viewer. Simply run PC Spy on your return to view the images - each one is displayed with the capture time clearly visible.
PC Spy runs completely hidden on your PC, and is not visible in the task list when Ctrl-Alt-Del is pressed (Windows 95/98). The software is completely standalone and runs from memory, enabling it to be stored and activated from a floppy disk. This means that there is no way anyone can discover that his or her actions on your PC are being recorded. Even if the machine is rebooted or crashes, the program will simply start up again on restart and continue where it left off.
