CryptaPix works as a basic image viewer, handling JPEG, GIF, PNG, PCX, TIF and BMP files within a simple interface.
Images can be browsed in list format or as thumbnails, and at up to 16 times the original size, with various editing functions at your disposal. Resize, flip and rotate images, and save them if you wish.
Slideshow capabilities allow you to present your photos in the way you want, specifying the delay between images and setting various transition effects between images.
TWAIN support allows images to be imported directly from scanners and digital cameras, as long as their drivers have been installed.
The most interesting feature is the ability to encrypt and decrypt images securely, using one of three encryption levels: low-level 40bit and 56bit PC1, medium-strength 80bit PC1, or high-level 160bit Blowfish algorithms.
Encryption ensures that your photos cannot be viewed by anybody without the correct password or a copy of CryptaPix. Original images can be overwritten, or an encrypted duplicate created.
