Each program that is run on a PC will create its own temporary files, which frequently don't get deleted when the program is closed and thus hog precious disk space.

These files can be removed manually but it's much better to use a program such as G-Lock Temp Cleaner, which will scour your hard drive(s) - including networked drives - and delete all unnecessary files it finds.

Simply select the drive(s) you wish to clean, hit the Scan button, review the resulting list of files, select those you wish to remove, and hit Delete.

Some of the found files may be system files, which is why you have to review them manually before deletion.

Clearing out these files will free disk space and reduce disk fragmentation.
