A source of great frustration with Windows is the length of time it can take to start. Startup Faster! 2004 works to reduce this delay in a couple of ways.

Firstly it lets you select which programs you want to run at startup. The other and more clever way that Startup Faster improves your computer is by controlling how all of these programs are started.

If they all try and run together, it slows the computer down. By controlling this process and only letting one program start at a time Startup Faster can reduce the total time needed. On our test computer it saved nearly 2 minutes.
