The functions included in WinSpeedUp are many and varied, covering everything from optimising Windows startup to cleaning the registry.
Functions are split into three broad categories - Cleanup, Tuning and Customize - with relevant options displayed within these categories. Most changes are made simply by checking or unchecking a tick box, and applying the changes.
Options include tweaking internet settings to boost your connection (broadband or dial-up), performing a disk cleanup (remove temp files, history lists, cookies etc), uninstalling programs, editing the Start Menu, repairing windows and freeing up Ram, among many others.
Some interesting features include the ability to hide entries from the Start Menu and hide internal drives from view.
An integrated wizard can be used for a quick and automatic tuning of your settings.
Note: You'll need to have administrator rights in order to run WinSpeedUp.
