When you’re working and iTunes is iconified to your Taskbar, there’s no quick and easy way of knowing the tune that’s due to play next, unless you know your albums off by heart or you’re using a playlist.

NotifyTunes is a Windows-only application for iTunes that enables you to quickly view the track that is just about to be played (or has currently started playing). It shows a display on your desktop and included within this display is information about the track, album artwork (where applicable), your track rating and even the playlist that you’re using.

NotifyTunes does nothing if iTunes is not running on your system. Once you start the application, NotifyTunes will start. It’s a self-contained application and utilities few system resources.
