Reports are coming in that a new worm, potentially another variant of Code Red, is infecting computers across India and Asia.
The worm has been called 'Code Blue' but no details are currently available.
It is not known how many computers are affected, or even what vulnerabilities it exploits.
In short, industry experts are unsure what is going on, but an unnamed worker in a government-run virus research centre near Beijing has some knowledge of the new worm.
Apparently Code Blue infects servers and then consumes system resources until the machine slows down to the point where it crashes.
Expect more details after the weekend - if we're all still here and the internet hasn't exploded, that is.
