Rockstar Games is the latest company to begin distributing its games over Valve's Steam platform.
The controversial video game publisher is offering 10 titles at the outset, including the Grand Theft Auto series, Midnight Club II, Max Payne, Max Payne 2, Wild Metal Country and Manhunt.
Rowan Hajaj, head of finance and corporate development at Rockstar Games, said: "We are continually looking for ways to give back to our fans, and this collaboration will give people a chance to easily revisit some of our greatest titles."
Valve signed deals with Eidos in March 2007, Capcom in June and Id Software in August, helping the platform to attract more than 13 million subscribers.
As part of the Rockstar launch, customers are being offered a 10 per cent discount on all games until 11 January.
Specially-priced collections and bundles are also available, including The Rockstar Collection which includes all 10 Rockstar games for $53.95.
