The international EarthCam network of live webcams is helping police to investigate an explosion in New York's Times Square on Thursday.
EarthCam operates around 17 webcams in Times Square, videoing the area 24/7, and is working closely with the New York Police Department to determine any activity that may have been related to the explosion.
The cameras are primarily used for tourism and are the most popular feature on the EarthCam site.
A small blast hit an army recruiting centre in Times Square in the small hours on 6 February.
The explosive device caused minor damage, smashing the window of a military recruitment centre which was empty. The centre is in the middle of the square and is surrounded by theatres and restaurants.
The BBC said that the recruiting station is one of the busiest in the US and has occasionally been the site of anti-war protests.
