Astronauts on the International Space Station will shortly be receiving an MP3 player sent up by a 14 year-old Norwegian girl after she won a competition organised by the European Space Agency.

Therese Miljeteig won the ESA's Automated Transfer Vehicle competition in July last year, and is now travelling to French Guiana to watch the MP3 player being launched.

The player will be sent onboard the Jules Verne craft, which will take essential supplies and a few luxuries to astronauts on the Space Station.

"I read space news and space science out of a personal interest. I'm not sure how the interest started. I just began reading articles about space because it was fun," said Miljeteig.

"I actually didn't think very hard about the MP3 tracks. I just chose the ones that came into my mind and that seemed to fit."

Hopefully the astronauts will enjoy her choices, although they do include tracks by Status Quo and Celine Dion.

The full track listing is as follows:

The Beatles: Here Comes The Sun
Frank Sinatra: Come Fly With Me
Elton John: Rocket Man
Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes: Up Where We Belong
John Lennon: Imagine
Irene Cara: Flashdance, What A Feeling
Dire Straits: Walk of Life
Celine Dion: Fly
Status Quo: Rockin' All Over The World
R Kelly: I Believe I Can Fly
