CeBIT is Europe's biggest technology show. Held in Hanover, more than 20 pavilions play host to 8,000 IT companies showing off their stuff to 700,000 technology-hungry visitors.

Mobile will be one sector to watch this year, with handset manufacturers displaying their latest 3G models to a sceptical audience.

And on the security side there are a number of smaller companies with products that look to cash in on one of the few areas where IT spending is expected to grow.

Love it or hate it, CeBIT is the only place where suppliers and users come together in such numbers.

So be sure to check here for regular updates on the big news from the show, all through the event.
