SCO has reached the half-way mark in its epic legal battle with IBM. While SCO sees it as a battle of David versus Goliath, much of the Linux community sees SCO as threatening the open source movement that has been one of the most exciting aspects of the software business in the past few years.

But away from the legal manoeuvres, SCO is also a company with products - SCO OpenServer and UnixWare - which it has to develop, and customers and partners to please.

And many of them have questions about how SCO will balance the ongoing legal action with its own product roadmap, and what the company plans to do when the courtroom drama is over.
